Have you met Camomile Beauty yet? Let me introduce you.
Camomile Beauty was founded in Montreal, Canada by a team of passionate women who dream of ending animal cruelty in the cosmetics industry one step at a time. We are an online cruelty-free cosmetics and skincare retailer which carefully selects ethical, environment friendly brands at all price points in order to make it easier for our customers to buy consciously. Our goal is simple: we want to help you make the switch to a fully green and cruelty-free lifestyle, starting right in your Make-up bag.
Holy crap, it’s Canadian and has a sample program!
Here you will find face, body and hair care, makeup, essential oils and fragrances, babies and kids products, tools and gift sets. With over 40 Companies represented by Camomile, there is something for everyone. As a Canadian girl, I like that I don’t have to add on exchange, duty and taxes! They do ship Internationally with duties and taxes added on at checkout so there will be no surprises upon delivery.
A Sample Program is available for some products and is a great idea but, it has some rules you need to follow, so make sure you read the SAMPLE PROGRAM page.
Over 40 companies is overwhelming right? Wrong.
Camomile Beauty’s website is set up so that you are easily able to narrow down the choices because, let’s face it, over 40 companies is overwhelming.
Narrowing down your choices is straightforward. Using hair care as an example; you can filter on Product Type, Brand Name, Hair type/hair concern, ingredients you want/don’t want and finally price range. As an experiment, I filtered on Shampoo/Coloured Hair/Sulfate Free, and I narrowed it down to 6 brands of shampoo. Now it’s super easy to look and see what I want to order! I narrowed shampoo choices from over 60 to 6 with a couple of clicks. Pretty great, right?
Palm Oil Free
What you won’t find listed for filtering is Palm Oil. When a reader asked for 100% Palm Free skin care products, I inquired directly with Camomile as palm oil and derivatives can be under 30+ different names. Camomile does carry three skincare brands that are Palm Free; Sukin, Nourish Organics and Honua. I don’t know about shampoo etc., but if you’d like me to find out, please drop me a comment below or an email, and I’ll do my best.
Sales and Special Offers
I love sales, saving money, getting a deal both for my readers and me! Here’s my only negative on this company, sales are rare. Black Friday and Boxing Day seem to be the only times they put on a sitewide sale. They do however have some super gift and value sets at reasonable prices, and they are worth checking out once you’ve decided what you want to try. They will even gift wrap for you if you’re sending it away as a gift.

Finally, their blog; while not extensive, I do like their content, and I’m sure you will too. By pure coincidence, I’ve covered some of the same topics on my blogroll so, if you want a different take on things or, want new content give it a look!
Finally, if you’re looking for something specific reach out to me and I’ll do my best to find it for you or get you an answer. I love to hear from you readers so don’t hesitate to drop me an email or a comment!
